7/16/08 Spoken Word Resources
http://www.urbanwordnyc.org/urbanword.html ---Cool organization that started using spoken word as an after school activity to reach teens who were "at risk." They do summer workshops for teachers (to show their process) and have been doing them in Wisconsin. They are working on a written curriculum, too. The "community partners" page has interesting links, too.
